Macdonald Botley Park Hotel & Spa, Durley

We had a wonderful time at the hotel with its comfortable rooms and lovely pool area, although breakfast service was a bit disorganized. The staff was friendly, which made our stay more enjoyable. On the downside, the noisy neighbors during our second night were unfortunate, and the room could have used some minor cleaning improvements.

This hotel has a convenient location but unfortunately has seen better days. The rooms were spacious and clean, but some of the amenities and dining experiences left much to be desired. The service was variable, with some attentive staff members but also instances of inefficiency. Although there were some positives, like the cleanliness and comfortable beds, overall, it did not provide the luxury experience we were hoping for.

The swimming pool was an added touch, and breakfast was simply amazing. However, I did find the dining options in the sports bar to be limited, and the restaurant was quite formal for our taste.
